ELI will now become a Cooperating Society at LIA’s conference, International Congress on Applications of Lasers & Electro-Optics (ICALEO®), Automotive Laser Application Workshop (ALAW), and Pacific International Conference on Applications of Lasers and Optics (PICALO).
The European Laser Institute already cooperated in the publication of LIA’s Journal of Laser Applications.
ELI’s President Dr. Stefan Kaierle is a member of JLA’s International review board. The increased cooperation between the societies was agreed by Dr. Kaierle and LIA executive director Peter Baker on July 18th at the Washington DC meeting of the Global Alliance for Research and Education in Laser Aided Manufacturing (GARELAM).
